Tough first game for a very new Storm side, missing some key players but eager all the same. They held their own in a first couple of scappy minutes of play; after which, the Rocks got into their stride. some good ball movement allowed them to get easy looks whereas Storm struggled against some stout defense.
The second quarter was a much tougher lesson for the fresh Storm Troopers. Rocks applied a press, causing some panic and several turnovers. Rocks accumulated a massive lead after this qrt, scoring an impressive 32pts!
This did not deter the Storm side i am pleased to say! they came out with some determination in the 2nd half . the goal: outscore our first half score. success! Everyone got the chance to play for both teams, and im glad their was still a good atmosphere at the end of the game. The kids enjoyed it
