Match Report
With the season fast approaching Storm 1A hadn't really scrimmaged let alone played a competitive game.
The Rens offered a chance to run against a well drilled athletic team, and despite being only 7 strong with their Coach and one of their training players suited up just in case, Storm worked through their stuff and showed their Coach the good and the bad from all the pre-seaon drilling.
The Rens came out firing in the first quarter scoring 21 points (5 3ptrs) to lead by three but with the coach emphasising better effort on the perimeter defence, the Rens only hit one further three for the remainder of the game.
The game was close throughout with Storm regaining the lead in the 2nd quarter and never letting it slip - it was however not a double digit game until the 4th quarter when the intensity dropped a little and all players were given some mins.
