1A's defence of the league got off to a shaky start against City @ Eastbank tonight; City threatened the whole game but couldn't get more than a few points of a lead early on - 3 quarters of mediocre play saw the game stay close, with 1A up 2 or 3 or tied most of the game.
It wasn't until 1A finally stepped up the defensive pressure that they pushed the game out and earned the W. (Despite two horrible turnovers in the last 10 seconds which prevented a double digit win!!!)
