Match Report
The return leg against the Lions was a completley different affair from the 34 point Storm victory last week.
Lions travelled through with a squad of 8 players who were up for making a statement - and that they did.
Starting the quicker the Lions quickly got themselves a lead and didn't relinquish it the whole game - Storm came close a couple of times getting to within 3 points but then the Lions would go on another run and open it out again.
Without the onslaught of three ptrs Storm never got any momentum going and the few they did hit - never spurred the team onto a significant run.
A good example of the positives of pre-season games - lots to learn and work on.
Thanks to Adrian Flynn and the Lions for the two matches - hopefully we'll do it again next year!
