Match Report
Even first half saw the visiting Tornadoes up 7.
Troon started the 2nd half better; moving out to a 16 point lead before 1B realised that despite injuries and 'big names' not playing, they can still be a formidable defensive team and when the ball is shared an offensive threat also.
The 4th quarter saw it tighten up with Storm drawing level at 62. the last few secs saw Jamie Frew hold his nerve at the line and put Troon up 1.
Storms last gasp timeout with 11 secs to go saw the play on the board dissappear and instead 3 shots went up for the win - none dropped and Troon travel home with the W - while every Storm player (and the Coach) is now thinking there was probably one play throughout the game in which they personally could have changed the result!
This is the beauty of sports, the adrenaline, the excitement, the joy.................. and the pain!
